my future…in a nutshell

in recent months i discovered how absolutely essential it is for me to stay in Los Angeles as i go off to college and really begin a future

and while, before, i was eager to enjoy the independence, experiences, and freedom of going off to college somewhere completely new, i can safely say i am making the right decision. my priorities are constantly shifting, but family is always number one, among other things

part of two different families now!

i’m getting a new pair of glasses’ frames-college apps will be forever finished by tuesday-i’m excited while preparing to create a site for posting my artwork-i can finally watch all of the wes anderson films i’ve been eager to see-i’m saving up for my docs and on their way to becoming MINE- i’m learning how to skateboard eeeeeek-i’m getting my permit by februrary-seeing Cults (!!!!!) after some chicken and some waffles- i can finally eat all the sushi i want when i want afterschool with three or four or more important people-again, hikes- i can actually go shopping now-i don’t have to make to-do lists anymore!- i’m going to download apps and buy a case for ze phone-going to organize my room for once- sleep…early…get lots o’ sleep…

i hope i’m going to have as much time as i’m expecting! haha probably not though

i remember always skipping these “nature-y” photos all of last year and before. i saw pictures of trees, mountains, and/or places like these in the same category as the bland hills that come with desktop wallpapers

but now, these are the types of photos i gravitate towards the most to. that’s probably why i’m so excited to pick up hiking. i’ve taken a lot of the local trails for granted. and alas, i now have the time to appreciate them
